National Register credentialing procedures are consistent with JCAHO standards for primary source verification.
National Register
Since 1974 the National Register, a nonprofit organization, has been serving consumers, psychologists, and the health-care community. The National Register is the largest and most successful credentialing organization in psychology.
The National Register collects primary source documentation to verify doctoral degree, internship and postdoctoral supervised experience at the time of application, and verifies license information of each psychologist twice annually.
