Our 50th Anniversary Year

Celebrate With Us!

LinkedInFacebookTwitterPrintFriendlyShare

In 1974, the National Register was created to identify psychologists who were qualified to provide health services to the public. Our mission has expanded significantly over the last 50 years, but we remain dedicated to our founding principles of excellence in credentialing, fostering clinical expertise, workforce development, supporting the next generation of psychologists, and educating consumers on the positive impact of psychologists in our healthcare system.

We’re excited to launch our anniversary initiative by matching up to $50,000 in donations to the Internship Travel Scholarship!

These $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually to psychology doctoral students who will transition to an APA/CPA accredited internship in a new geographic location later that year. Applicants for the $1,000 scholarship are selected based on both their stated goals as a health service psychologist and economic need. Celebrate our 50th year by supporting future psychologists.

Where We’ve Been

Where We Are Going

To celebrate 50 years of being the professional home for health service psychologists, we’ll be matching up to $50,000 in donations to the Internship Travel Scholarship! We can’t wait for you to join us as throughout the year!

Dr. Tiffany Brown

President/Chair of the National Register Board of Directors

Since our founding in 1974, the National Register has been an innovative and trailblazing organization. We’ve promoted high standards in psychology regulation and credentialing, delivered exceptional benefits to members, and disseminated essential information to consumers. In our more recent history, we’ve evolved into a strong and inclusive community of psychologists and doctoral students—truly the professional home for health service psychologists.
